A photo can tell you what your plant is. It can't tell you what it needs. Yellow lower leaves look identical whether the cause is too much water, too little, a nutrient gap, or simply age. What separates them is the plant's history — and that's the one thing only you have. Sabz reads it. A CHECK-UP, NOT A GUESS When something looks wrong, Sabz weighs how you've actually watered, moved, fed and repotted that plant, asks a few targeted questions, and works out the likely cause. Then it tells you what to do, and what to stop doing. YOUR OBSERVATIONS COUNT You're standing in front of the plant; Sabz isn't. Describe what you see in your own words — "the soil smells sour", "only the lower leaves" — and watch the reading change to account for it. When your note shifts the answer, Sabz says so. HONEST, RATHER THAN CONFIDENT When the evidence is thin, Sabz says so, names what would make it surer, and gives you the safest next step meanwhile. It would rather be useful than sound certain. PET SAFETY YOU CAN CHECK Toxicity for every species in the library, taken from the ASPCA's published lists for cats and dogs, with the source shown. A general guide, not veterinary advice — in an emergency, call a vet. CALM REMINDERS One message a day, however many plants you own, on the day they actually need water — each plant on its own rhythm rather than a fixed weekly schedule. No streaks, no badges, nothing to keep alive but the plant. Turn the text up as far as you need; nothing breaks. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-in. No analytics. Your plants, photos, care history and check-ups stay on your iPhone.
