SAAMU is a community-based savings platform. It competes with traditional ROSCA models and digital saving platforms. SAAMU provides a platform for savings coordinators/ admins to create a group savings platform and subsequently add interested members. The platform will contain information such as names, addresses, sex, work details, pictures, number of members, amount, slot/ position e.t.c. The platform also shows the next collector, prompts when to start and end collections. In addition, it also shows a snapshot of the whole process. It aims to give a voice/ face to traditional Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA) models and digital savings platforms.
