It is an independent citizen platform. S.E.T.A.L. does not provide government services and in no way replaces official municipal services. The application simply facilitates communication and coordination between citizens and local stakeholders in their neighborhood, as well as in the city and surrounding communities, to improve cleanliness and sanitation. ✨ WHAT IS S.E.T.A.L.? S.E.T.A.L. (which means “cleanliness” in Wolof) is an independent community platform that allows: • Citizens to report waste and sanitation issues in their neighborhood • Local teams and partners to monitor and coordinate cleanup efforts • Local agents and teams to receive and carry out assigned tasks • To post and participate in events related to cleanliness and sanitation • To participate in monitoring urban cleanliness through data collection and analysis The goal is to facilitate local collaboration and encourage citizen participation, without replacing official public services. 🎯 HOW DOES IT WORK? 📍 REPORT Take a photo, geolocate the waste dump, and submit your report. 👀 TRACK Receive notifications about the status of your report and cleanup operations. 📅 PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS Discover and participate in community events organized for cleanliness and sanitation in your neighborhood. 🌱 TRACK THE IMPACT Track local improvements through the collection and analysis of report data. ✅ KEY FEATURES • Geolocation-based reporting with photo and description • Transparent tracking of interventions • Participation in local events • Interactive report map • Gamification: points, badges, and leaderboards • Offline functionality with automatic synchronization ℹ️ IMPORTANT TO KNOW • S.E.T.A.L.
