RyeDC: the companion app for rideshare and gig drivers 1. Automatic Mileage - your logbook writes itself Turn it on once in Settings and RyeDC records your drives on its own. No timer to start, none to stop, nothing to remember at the end of a long shift. - Drives are detected and logged while the app sits in your pocket. - Every detected drive is filed as business by default. Reclassify the personal ones with a tap. - Your business-use percentage keeps itself up to date, ready for tax time. - Tell RyeDC which car stereo is yours and detected drives are recorded against that vehicle automatically. - Two drives either side of a short stop can be combined into one journey. - Tune how readily a drive is detected, from "catch more drives" to "fewer false starts". - RyeDC stays asleep until your phone notices you are moving, so it is not holding GPS open all day. - Prefer typing odometer readings? Shifts work exactly as they always have, and you can use both together. 2. Mileage Logbook - shifts, odometer readings and detected drives in one place - One History screen collects all of it: the drives RyeDC detected, the shifts you logged, and every odometer reading. - One report covers the lot, as PDF or Excel, with each kind of record in its own labelled section and subtotal. - Weekly, monthly, or any date range you choose. - Add as many vehicles as you like, each with its own logbook. - Kilometres or miles, and your own currency. 3. Live Fare Meter - calculates the price in real time For drivers: see the fare during the trip rather than at the end. Capture routes and compare fares between rideshare services. Adjust surge pricing on the go or after a trip. Watch distance, elapsed time and fare together. Compare a metered fare against upfront pricing. Use it as a taxi meter for private bookings, at your own rates. For riders: see the live fare on your own phone during a rideshare trip, just like a regular taxi. Add as many service providers and ride options as you like. 4. Around Me - add and find useful places near you Add, rate and read crowd-sourced information on an interactive map: public toilets, surge locations, street food and food trucks, ease of parking, female-friendly places, driver discounts on takeaway food, and more. Free and private by design RyeDC is free to download and use. No subscription required. - Permissions are requested when you use the feature that needs them, never at launch and always with an explanation first. - Settings > Help improve the app turns analytics and crash reporting on and off together. - Settings > Ad privacy choices lets you change your advertising consent at any time. Sign up to back your data up to the cloud and keep it synced across your devices.
