Store description excerpt

Nobody tells you the rules. RULE shows you evidence and nothing else. A shape becomes another shape. A row of marks turns into a different row. Somewhere in that change is a rule — your job is to work out what it is, then choose the answer that follows it. There is no tutorial. The first puzzles are the tutorial. 200 HANDCRAFTED PUZZLES Eight worlds, each one a new way for meaning to hide: CHANGE — things become other things POSITION — where something sits is the message COUNT — how many is the answer DIRECTION — orientation carries meaning INSIDE — what contains what MIRROR — reflection and symmetry SEQUENCE — order that keeps going RULES — everything you have learned, at once ONE DEFENSIBLE ANSWER, EVERY TIME A deduction game only works if you can trust it. Every puzzle here was designed by hand and then checked by machine: the rule it is built on has to explain every example you are shown, and no rival reading may point at a different option. You will not be told you were wrong when you were right. NOTHING IN THE WAY No timers. No lives. No streaks. No coins. No ads. No subscriptions. A wrong answer costs nothing at all — the puzzle stays open and you try again. Hints are free and unlimited, and taking one never blocks your progress. MADE TO BE PLAYABLE BY ANYONE Nothing you have to reason about is carried by colour. Shapes are told apart by form, fill, size, direction and position, so the game reads the same in greyscale, in high contrast, and for colour-blind players. Every puzzle describes itself to VoiceOver. Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion are respected. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION No account. No tracking. No analytics. No server. RULE never connects to the internet — every puzzle ships inside the app, and your progress stays on your device. One purchase. 200 puzzles. Nothing else. Observe. Deduce. Decide.
