The village of Rudinka excels mainly in its geographical location, as key transport arteries in the direction to the Czech Republic and Poland pass through the cadastre of the village. An integral part of Rudinka is the Kysucká Gate, which is the entrance gate from the Upper Považie region to the Lower Kysuce region. The gate itself consists of two hills. Vyššia Brodnianka measures 719.8 m above sea level. m. and lower Rochovica 639.6 m above sea level. m. . Both hills belong to the protected area in Javorníky and are declared nature reserves.
