Naps and night sleep are drawn as arcs; feeds, diapers, baths and walks sit as marks around the edge. Things you'd never spot in a list are simply there on the face — the long afternoon gap, the 5am feed that has quietly crept later, the week the naps started merging. THEIR RHYTHM, NOT A TEMPLATE Rostik reads the entries you've already made and works out when the next nap is likely to fall. It comes from your own baby's pattern rather than a generic age chart, and it's a heads-up, not an instruction. TWO TAPS, ONE HAND Sleep, breastfeeding, bottle, solids, diapers, baths, walks. Two taps and it's logged — one-handed, in the dark, while the other arm is occupied. ONE DIARY, UP TO FIVE PEOPLE Invite your partner, a grandparent, a nanny or a nanny. Up to five people share the same diary, each with their own role, and every entry shows who made it — so Mum can watch the afternoon bottle appear while she's still at work. GROWTH ON THE CURVES Weight, length and head circumference plotted on World Health Organization growth curves with percentiles, so you see the line your baby is following instead of a column of numbers. TRENDS, WEEK BY WEEK Day sleep, night sleep, feeds and diapers over the past week or month — the direction of travel, in charts you can read in a few seconds. SOUNDS BY THE COT White noise, rain, a heartbeat, a handful of quiet lullabies. They keep playing with the screen off and the phone in your pocket. AN INFORMATION SHELF, NOT A CONSULTATION Rostik keeps the reading you end up doing anyway at 3am in one place: common childhood illnesses in plain language, arranged by age; the CDC immunization schedule with a check next to each shot your child has had; and a dose reference drawn from the British National Formulary for Children (NICE) and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Every one of those screens says the same thing at the top, and so do we: this is information for parents, not medical advice. Rostik does not diagnose, does not prescribe and is not a medical device. Diagnosis and treatment are your doctor's. Each screen lists the documents it is based on — WHO, NICE, NHS, the AAP — and links straight to the originals so you can read them yourself.
