Store description excerpt

“That café, what was it that tasted so good?” “The inn we stayed at last year, what was it called?” “Come to think of it, I would like to go back to that park.” Keeping a diary is hard because writing is work. RONDO is a personal journal that keeps the places you visit on a map with nothing more than a photo and a short note. The place name, the weather and the temperature fill themselves in, so a record takes a few seconds. Your records are stored only on your iPhone and in iCloud, and never sent to outside servers. No account is needed. As records build up, memory movies are made from them automatically. Photos and video clips go in as they are, and you choose the length and aspect ratio before saving or sharing. The places you have been, and what happened there, kept on a map just as it was. A journaling app for yourself, shown to no one. Main features - Customize the map with photo stickers A photo that is not quite a record can still go on the map: cut out the background and stick it on as a sticker. - Layer records onto a place Photos, a short note, a five-star rating and tags, right where you are. Weather and temperature are saved for you, and the records build up each time you return. - Only your route, on your iPhone and iCloud Even while the app is closed, the line of your route is drawn on the map. That information stays on your iPhone and in iCloud. Hours you would rather not keep can be hidden at any time, and nothing is saved as a place until you press the button. - Videos, just as they were When you want the sound and the movement too, record a video. Add it to a note and it becomes a clip in your memory movie. - The moment it occurs to you Capture Here Now pins your current location in a single tap. - Even without a photo Places you stayed for 10 minutes or more line up in the day’s Log as suggestions. One tap records one, and no place data is saved until you tap. - Unnamed places, just as they are For places that are not tied to a shop or a venue, there is Snapshot. A lookout on a mountain pass or a bench by the river stays on your map too. - Adjust photos and videos on the spot Exposure, color, cropping and filters, inside the app. For video, choose the part you want, then crop or rotate it. - Look back on a day A Log screen where the map and the timeline are one. Spots, photos, steps and distance line up as a summary of the day. - Trips and days, as albums Memories spanning several days gather into a single album, together with the map. - A map that becomes yours Every place you record appears as a pin. Filter by tag, category or rating. - Trace memories through the calendar A calendar where every date carries a photo. One tap takes you to the same day a week, a month or a year ago. - A day’s records on a single card Share a day’s records as a single card image. The background is a 3D map or one of that day’s photos. - Look back through data Streaks, a year of activity and more, together in the Data tab. - Yo
