RollCall runs a police department's shift bid from the phone in each officer's pocket. Shift bidding is a seniority process with real consequences: who works nights, who has weekends, who takes the beat they have worked for years. Departments have run it on paper sign-up sheets and spreadsheets, where a missed turn is invisible until the roster is published and a mistake costs someone a year of their schedule. RollCall makes the queue explicit. Every officer sees where they stand, what is left to choose, and whose decision the line is currently waiting on. FOR OFFICERS - See your place in the bid order and how many officers are ahead of you - Get a push notification the moment your turn opens, so a turn is never missed - Pick your shift from live team rosters showing who has already committed and how many slots remain - Schedule payback hours across the cycle's pay periods - Choose priority vacation on a calendar that shows your own work days, training days and paybacks - Rules are enforced as you tap, so a selection that would be rejected is explained before you submit it, not after FOR SUPERVISORS AND ADMINISTRATORS - Watch the bid advance in real time and see exactly who it is waiting on - Maintain the seniority list, teams, shifts and assignments - Track payback balances and priority vacation across the department - Publish the training calendar once and let it follow officers to their new teams - Review the finished rotation before it becomes the roster BUILT FOR THE JOB Turn alerts are time-sensitive, so they break through Focus and Do Not Disturb — a bid turn is time-boxed, and a silenced phone should not cost an officer their pick. AN ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED RollCall is used by the members of a specific agency. Signing in requires an employee number and PIN issued by your department; accounts cannot be created from the app. If your agency does not use RollCall yet, there is nothing here for you to sign up for.
