Scan a price, compare payment methods, check a merchant's dynamic currency conversion (DCC) offer, and keep your trip budget on track—all in one clear workflow. SCAN PRICES ON YOUR DEVICE Capture a price tag, menu, bill, or receipt, or choose an image from Photos. On-device OCR finds prices without uploading the original image. Review and edit every result before using it. GO BEYOND CURRENCY CONVERSION Convert foreign prices with daily reference rates and see the rate source and date. Use cached rates offline or enter a manual rate when needed. COMPARE WAYS TO PAY Create your own cash, card, or digital-wallet rules. RoamSum can factor in exchange-rate markups, foreign transaction fees, cross-border fees, fixed charges, cash exchange rates, and cashback to compare estimated final costs. CHECK DCC MARKUPS When a terminal offers to charge your home currency, compare the merchant's quote with the reference conversion and see the potential extra amount and percentage. PLAN TRIPS AND STAY ON BUDGET Build single- or multi-country trips, set a total budget, download offline rate packs, and track spending, remaining budget, and the amount available per day. KEEP A TRACEABLE TRAVEL LEDGER Save the original currency amount, home-currency value, rate source, and payment-rule snapshot for every expense. Add the final posted amount later, record refunds or voids, attach receipts, and filter your ledger by date, trip, category, and amount. SEE THE ESSENTIALS AT A GLANCE Use the iOS Home Screen widget to check your selected currency pair, reference rate, budget, and recent expenses. YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE No account is required. Core records stay on your device by default. Optional iCloud sync covers structured app data; receipt originals are excluded. Export expenses as CSV or PDF, create local backups, or erase your data at any time. RoamSum is free to use, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or cross-app tracking.
