RoadFare is a GPS trip and fare management tool designed for taxi drivers, ride-hailing service workers, and users who need to record their trips. Once you initiate a trip, RoadFare records the distance, time, route, and location quality based on your device's location, and calculates the estimated fare in real-time according to the selected fare plan. Main Features • Real-time Meter Calculation and Trip Control: View current fare, distance traveled, elapsed time, and GPS status; start, pause, continue, and end trips. With background location services enabled, trips will continue to be recorded even when switching to other apps or locking the screen. • Customizable Fare and Trip Calculation: Set the starting fare, base mileage, per-kilometer rate, waiting fee, and round-up unit. You can also use per-trip pricing, fixed surcharges, rate multipliers, kilometer surcharges, additional fees, or discounts. You can choose to apply daytime or nighttime plans based on pick-up time. Before starting a trip, you can enter the estimated distance and waiting time to calculate the fare. • Maps, Routes, and Navigation View your real-time location and trip trajectory on the map. Enter your origin and destination, and choose to start navigation with an external navigation app. Actual availability depends on your device, network, and location permissions. • Settlement, Receipts, and Remittance After your trip, view fare details, add notes, surcharges, or discounts, and save driver and vehicle information. Completed trips can generate PDF receipts, share text receipts, or export filtered results as a CSV file. • Trip Records and Revenue Summary Browse, search, and manage historical trips by date range, viewing revenue, number of trips, and average fare for today, this week, this month, or a custom period. • GPS Quality and Reliability Tools Displays positioning accuracy and used/excluded positioning samples, providing real-vehicle distance correction and testing tools. If a trip is unexpectedly interrupted, the app can prompt you to resume unfinished records. • Account and Cloud Sync Please log in to your member account using the method provided on the app's login screen. Even with login and membership permissions active, you still need to explicitly agree within the app for your trip and fare to sync to the cloud for your account. Membership Features and Permissions Some features require valid membership benefits or subscriptions. The actual available features are subject to the information displayed within the app. If you purchase a Google Play subscription, the plan, price, and renewal conditions will be displayed before purchase, and the Google Play payment screen will prevail. RoadFare only uses location data after you actively initiate a trip. Background location is an optional permission used to maintain trip recording when the app is in the background or the screen is locked.
