A drums-and-bass backing band plays your progression while a fretboard guide keeps the scale path in view and highlights the current chord's root and other chord tones as the harmony changes. Practice lead lines, explore phrases, or play rhythm guitar. Choose a starting progression, set a comfortable tempo, and make music with the guide in front of you. SOLO WITH A VISUAL GUIDE • See the chord progression and fretboard guide together while the jam plays • Swipe the neck to explore any position from open strings through fret 24 • Use the starting template's scale path as a guide for your solos • Follow the highlighted root and chord tones as each chord changes • Choose a Dark Ebony, Maple, or Walnut guide finish • Transpose the progression and scale guide to any key • Give yourself more time by letting each chord last one, two, or four bars BUILD YOUR BACKING BAND • Start from four practical four-chord progressions • Edit each chord's root and type to make your own progression • Choose from eleven styles, including Studio Pop, Classic Rock, Dirty Rock, Blues Shuffle, Tight Funk, Jazz Swing, Bossa Nova, and Neo-Soul Half-Time • Play along with recorded drums and clean electric bass, with all sounds included • Choose Studio, Big Rock, Vintage, Jazz, or Electronic drum-kit sounds • Style changes the drum rhythm and bass line; the kit changes the drums' sound KEEP PLAYING • Start with a count-in and loop for as long as you want • Mute or rebalance drums and bass without stopping the jam • Save setups locally and return to them later • Use the in-app Help for chord editing, backing-band choices, fretboard navigation, and playback controls PRIVATE BY DESIGN Music practice works offline, with no account or advertising. Jam collects no data. Optional tips and online support links require an internet connection; tips unlock no features and are never required.
