Your bike's suspension was set at the factory for one rider, no luggage. Add panniers, a passenger, or a few extra kilos and that setting no longer fits. RideTune tells you where to start. HOW IT WORKS Pick your bike, enter your weight and what you're carrying — luggage, a passenger, or both. The app works out a starting point for preload, rebound and compression, front and rear. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM From the owner's manual, wherever one exists. Every bike shows the source of its data, and when there's no documented factory setting the app says N/A instead of making a number up. If your bike has no front compression adjuster, that's what you'll read. Where the manufacturer publishes load tables, the app interpolates between the real points. Where it doesn't, it uses the brand's known formula and tells you so.
