The REVE Model 1 is an ambient drone soundscape machine, built around a synth and echo machine that turns a single note into a slowly evolving world. Try the lite version at http://revemodel1.davebokil.com/ FULL ANALOG-STYLE SYNTH ENGINE VCO — Range switch (16', 8', 4', 2'), Tune, Pulse Width, and a Manual/Envelope PWM source switch. Source Mixer — independent levels for Saw, Pulse, Sub, and Noise, plus a switchable sub-oscillator mode (−1 octave square, −2 octave square, −2 octave pulse). Filter — 20Hz–20kHz cutoff and Resonance, Envelope amount, Key Follow, and a dedicated Filter LFO. Envelope + VCA — full ADSR, with a VCA mode switch for Envelope or Gate. LFO — Triangle, Square, Sample & Hold, or Noise waveforms, with Rate, Depth, and a to-pitch routing toggle. Arpeggiator — Off/Up/Down/Up-Down modes, 1–4 octave range, adjustable rate, and Hold (latch). THE ECHO — THE HEART OF THE INSTRUMENT Delay/looping built to be played, not just heard: Repeat (feedback) that goes all the way to infinite sustain, delay time up to 4 seconds, and independent volume control. Push it toward infinite and a phrase stops being a phrase: it becomes a drone, a drift, a texture that keeps changing while your hands are free to reshape it. An output limiter with Threshold, Ceiling, and a gain-reduction meter — keeps things from clipping as the repeats stack up, no matter how far into the red you push it. PLAY IT LIKE AN INSTRUMENT A touch keyboard with real glissando — slide across keys instead of just tapping them — adjustable visible octave range and key span, and a Hold/latch mode so a note can ring on its own while both hands stay on the knobs.
