Store description excerpt
Regather plans reunions the way reunions actually work. A wedding planner assumes two hosts, a fixed date, and one guest list. A reunion has a committee, a date nobody has agreed on yet, a roster that arrives over months, and money flowing the other way — from attendees to the organizer. Regather is built for that. START BY PICKING THE WEEKEND Every reunion begins with "which weekend works for most people?" So does Regather. Put two or three weekends up, collect availability, and see the answer ranked by how many PEOPLE could come — not how many households replied. Households can tell you they'd bring five over Labor Day but only two in July, and that difference decides the date. A ROSTER THAT MATCHES YOUR GROUP Family reunions group by branch and generation. Class reunions group by graduating year, and search finds people by maiden name, married name or nickname — whichever one you remember. Households hold the people who travel and pay together, so one bill covers twelve name tags. PER-ACTIVITY RSVPs Friday mixer, Saturday picnic, Sunday brunch. People come to some and not others, so every activity carries its own headcount, cost and capacity. Grandma can skip the hike without leaving the reunion. MONEY THAT FLOWS INWARD Set a per-person fee, and see who has paid, who has part-paid and who hasn't. Charges are itemized so you can read a bill down the phone, and waivers stay on the record. A chart compares what you'll collect against what you've committed to spend, so you know whether the reunion pays for itself. FINDING PEOPLE Track who you haven't found yet: last known address, who's searching, which leads went nowhere. Dead ends stay on the list so nobody chases the same number twice. REMEMBERING A quiet remembrance list. No counts, no badges. Names, a year, and a line if someone wrote one — read at the gathering and printed in the program. EVERYTHING ELSE THE DAY NEEDS Hotel room blocks with a cut-off warning before the block silently releases. Who's hosting whom. Who needs a ride and who has spare seats. A what-to-bring list with claims, so nobody brings the fourth potato salad. Jobs assigned to committee members with deadlines. PRINT IT Name tags with photos, a program, and a headcount sheet with dietary needs and access needs for the caterer. Generated on the device — the venue won't have Wi-Fi. A COMMITTEE, NOT A COUPLE Invite co-organizers with one link and give each of them the access their job needs. Your treasurer sees money and nothing about missing people. Your food lead sees dietary counts and the potluck. Everyone edits at the same time and it syncs through iCloud. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Every screen reads and writes locally first, then syncs when signal returns. Check people in at a state park with no bars. BUILT TO BE READABLE Dynamic Type works at the largest accessibility sizes, tap targets are generous, and there's a high-contrast appearance. Because the person running the reunion is often the one who has been doing
