This is a core requirement for the app to function as intended. How it works: • App Launch Detection: The Accessibility Service is used to detect when you attempt to open specific apps that you have chosen to block (your "Predators"). • Interception: When a blocked app is detected, the service allows Rescuer to display an overlay screen (the Interception Screen) before the distracting app can be fully accessed. • Session Management: It tracks when you leave a blocked app to manage your "Free Passes" and "Grace Periods," ensuring the app only intercepts you when necessary. Your Privacy Matters: • No Data Collection: Rescuer does not collect, store, or share any personal data, messages, or sensitive information through the Accessibility Service. • Local Processing: All app detection and usage logic happens entirely on your device. • User Control: The service is only active after you explicitly grant permission in your device's Accessibility settings.
