Remise is a fencing journal for people who actually compete. After a bout, you have about thirty seconds before the details start to fade. Remise is built for those thirty seconds: log the score, write what worked and what didn't, and move on. Months later, when you draw the same opponent in a pool, it's all still there. WHAT YOU RECORD • Bouts — score, weapon, pool or DE, and the notes that matter: what worked, what didn't, what to try next time • Opponents — handedness, grip, club, rating, age, and free-text scouting notes that build up over a season • Lessons — coach, weapon, duration, focus areas, and how it went • Combinations — the actions you're taught, written as a setup plus the branch for each opponent reaction LOOK THEM UP BEFORE YOU FENCE Every opponent keeps a running head-to-head: your record, touches for and against, and every bout you've fenced against them with the notes you wrote at the time. Search by name, club, or anything you wrote down. IMPORT YOUR RESULTS Connect to fencingtracker and pull in your competition results automatically — bouts, opponents, and events, with no typing. Remise fills in each opponent's club, rating, birth year, and their pool and DE strength ratings. Already logged a bout by hand that then shows up in your import? Remise spots it and asks what to do, so you never end up with the same bout twice or lose the notes you wrote. TURN LESSONS INTO A PLAYBOOK Anything your coach teaches you can become a combination with one tap — the focus area becomes the title, your lesson notes become the description. Combinations are searchable by name, so "what was that prep-4 setup?" takes seconds to answer. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything is stored on your device. Turn on iCloud sync and your journal follows you across your own devices through your own private iCloud database — it goes to your iCloud account, not ours, and no other user can see it. Export any time as JSON, as CSV for a spreadsheet, or as a printable PDF of your lessons and combinations to read before a competition. No account. No ads. No tracking. Foil, épée, and saber.
