A Japanese-language study app for Japan's Registered Sales Clerk (登録販売者) exam, the qualification for selling category 2 and 3 over-the-counter medicines. Please note: the interface, the questions and every explanation are in Japanese. Japanese reading ability is required. ■ What it is The 120 actual questions of the fiscal 2025 exam published by Hokkaido (shared by the Hokkaido and Tohoku block), included question by question under the CC BY 4.0 licence with the source stated. These are the questions that were really set, not a commercial prediction set. Correct answers were machine-checked against the published answer key, so you can study the real style of wording and the real traps. ■ An explanation for every choice, a source for every question Every choice carries an explanation of what is wrong and why. All 120 questions cite their source, and the basis can be checked against the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's handbook for exam question preparation (April 2026 revision) and e-Gov, the official legislation database (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act). ■ Up to date with legal changes The weakness of past papers is legal change. Each question was checked against the latest handbook (April 2026 revision); where a change affects a question, both the correct answer at the time of the exam and the current rule are shown. ■ Pass or fail is decided by your weakest subject The pass criteria are 70% of the total score and at least 40% in every subject (from the exam guidelines). The app scores you by subject against those thresholds and names the subject you are short on. ■ Mock exams in the real format Five chapters: basic knowledge of medicines, how the body works, the main medicines, pharmaceutical law, and proper use. A half mock of 60 questions and a full mock of 120 questions in the real format, with a subject-by-subject pass breakdown. ■ About the qualification The Registered Sales Clerk is a qualification under Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act. Holders can sell category 2 and category 3 over-the-counter medicines without being a pharmacist. Eligibility, exam dates and application procedures can change; always confirm them on the examining body's official site. ■ Offline and private Android 8.0 or later. Questions are bundled in the app, so you can study without a connection. The app goes online only to receive question corrections and to process a purchase. There is no account to create, and your study record stays on the device. ■ What is free 10 drill questions in total, one half mock exam (60 questions), and 3 days of the auto-play review mode.
