Red-Handed is the hilariously unreliable lie detector made for families, friends, parties, and anyone whose stories occasionally require further investigation. Why does it exist? Because ordinary questions are much more entertaining when they are followed by mounting suspense, and a dramatic verdict from a phone pretending to possess advanced truth-detection technology. The app’s quick How to Use page explains the process in seconds, so you can move directly from downloading the app to conducting your first completely unqualified interrogation. Did someone really brush their teeth? Who finished the snacks? Was the bedroom actually clean five minutes ago? Red-Handed turns these everyday mysteries into funny, memorable conversations. Using Red-Handed is easy: 1) Ask the suspect a question. The process of asking them will be captured as a video of the question. 2) You decide the entirely fictional—analysis. This will initiate a dramatic analysis process that you can see. 3) Await the dramatic verdict, then debate the result as though it came from a team of highly trained investigators. 4) The best part - both a video of the interrogation, and the resulting analysis are captured as part of the app. A screenshot of the verdict is also captured. Both of which can be shared after the fact. Along the way, Red-Handed adds humorous commentary and wonderfully dubious scientific observations such as: “100% accurate. Unless you’re a kid.” “Warning: Results may be influenced by giggling.” “Science. Mostly. Probably.” “Detecting truth since about 30 seconds ago.” “Truth, fib, or excellent imagination?” IMPORTANT: Red-Handed is a novelty entertainment app. It is not a real lie detector, does not determine whether anyone is telling the truth, and should never be used to make serious decisions or accusations.
