Store description excerpt
Your phone already knows how long you were on it. It just never makes you feel it. Reclaim takes one number — your daily average from Settings → Screen Time — and turns it into something you can't shrug off. Your week becomes 112 waking-hour dots, and you watch how many are already spent. Your year becomes a count of full waking days. And if you tell it what an hour of your time is worth, it prices the whole thing in dollars. WHAT IT SHOWS • Your week as 112 waking hours, with the screen time filled in • The share of your waking life currently going to a screen • At this pace, one year = X full waking days on screen • The same year in books unread, workdays, flights not taken • "Your time, priced" — a year of screen time at your own hourly rate • What hitting your daily goal would give back, in hours per year INSIGHT, NOT BLOCKING Reclaim will never lock you out of an app. Blockers get bypassed in about four seconds and everyone knows it. This is built on the opposite bet: adults change behaviour when they see the true size of a number, not when a piece of software tries to boss them. You are an adult. Here is the number. WEEK BY WEEK Log your average each week and watch the trend. Best week gets highlighted. You can undo a log. There's an optional Sunday-evening reminder to enter it — and the act of typing the number is itself part of what works. WHY YOU TYPE THE NUMBER Apple's Screen Time API can't hand usage data to an app — reports render only inside a sandboxed extension and the entitlement is granted case by case. So Reclaim asks. It takes eight seconds a week, and it keeps the app honest about what it can actually see. ON YOUR PHONE, FULL STOP No account. No sign-up. No cloud. Nothing collected, ever. Dark mode included. Reclaim is an awareness tool, not a health or medical product, and makes no health claims.
