Store description excerpt

GETTING STARTED **Adding a recipe** Tap the + Add tab. You can type a recipe in by hand, scan a printed or handwritten recipe card with your camera, or add one from a photo already in your library. **Your library** The Book tab is your collection. Recipes are grouped by category - swipe each row sideways to see more, or tap "See all". Use the search icon (top right) to find a recipe by name, ingredient, or who sent it. **Categories** Tap "+ Add" in the category row on the Book tab to create your own, like "Sunday Roasts" or "Kids' Favourites". SCANNING A RECIPE CARD **How it works** From Add, choose "Scan a Recipe Card" and point your camera at a printed or handwritten card, or choose an existing photo. The app reads the text and sorts it into title, ingredients, and method automatically. **Checking the result** Before saving, you'll see a review screen. Tap the coloured label next to any line to change what it is (Title, Ingredient, Step, or Ignore), tap the text itself to fix a typo, and drag to reorder. **More than one page** If a recipe spans two cards, tap "Scan next page" after the first - everything joins into one recipe, grouped by page on the review screen. COOKING THE RECIPE **Start Cooking** Open a recipe and tap "Start Cooking". The current step appears on your Lock Screen, so you can follow along without unlocking your phone - ideal for messy hands. **Step timers** Steps like proving or baking can carry a timer. Tap Start on the timer and it counts down right on your Lock Screen, with a sound when it's done. You can move to the next step while a timer keeps running. **Finishing up** Tap "Finish Cooking" on the last step, or swipe the Lock Screen card away, to end the session. FAVOURITES & ORGANISING **Favouriting a recipe** On any recipe, tap the heart next to the star rating. Favourites get their own row at the top of your library, and a filter chip to jump straight to them. **Dietary tags & filters** Recipes can carry tags like Vegetarian or Gluten-Free. Use the filter row on the Book tab to narrow your library down - tags always reflect what the person who wrote the recipe entered, so do double-check ingredients yourself. **From family & friends** Recipes someone's shared with you show a little circle with their initials. Tap "My Recipes" or a person's name to filter to just their recipes. SHARING A RECIPE **Tap-to-share** Open a recipe, tap "Tap to Share Recipe", and hold your phone near a friend's who also has the app. No internet needed - just make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both switched on for both of you. **Recipe cards for social media** Tap Share → Card to turn a recipe into a nice photo card you can post or send anywhere, with the ingredients and method laid out underneath. You choose what to include. **PDF & other ways** The Share screen also offers a PDF, Notes, or email — handy for printing a recipe or keeping a written copy. **Linking related recipes** When editing a recipe, you can link to anoth
