RecallBranch turns the mind maps you create into active recall practice. Each new map starts with a central root ready for your main topic. Grow your ideas branch by branch, arrange them into a visual structure, and add colors and memos to make the relationships easier to understand. When you are ready to review, switch to Recall Mode. RecallBranch hides the branch labels while keeping the central topic, branch lines, colors, positions, and hierarchy visible. Use those visual cues to recall the hidden content, then tap each question mark to reveal the answer. You can build your study material and review it in the same place—without maintaining a separate set of flashcards. BUILD KNOWLEDGE VISUALLY • Start every map with an automatically created central root • Add child branches from the root or another branch • Edit labels directly on the canvas • Arrange branches freely around the central topic • Move a selected branch together with its entire subtree • Add memos for explanations, examples, and supporting details • Assign colors to distinguish topics and strengthen visual structure • Pinch to zoom and use two fingers to move around the canvas PRACTICE ACTIVE RECALL • Hide all branch labels with Recall Mode • Keep the central topic and map structure visible as memory cues • Reveal or hide individual branch labels by tapping them • Reveal or conceal all branch labels from the toolbar • View memos for revealed branches during review • Keep the layout fixed while practicing so your spatial cues remain consistent ORGANIZE YOUR MAPS • Create groups for different subjects, courses, exams, or projects • Move maps between groups • Duplicate an existing map to create a new version • Choose Light, Dark, or automatic appearance • Access built-in help and the welcome guide from Settings AVAILABLE ACROSS YOUR DEVICES RecallBranch stores your maps on your device and supports automatic synchronization through iCloud. Use your maps across compatible iPhone and iPad devices signed in to the same Apple Account. You can continue editing while offline. Changes can synchronize when an internet connection and iCloud become available again. No separate RecallBranch account is required. RecallBranch is suited to exam preparation, language learning, lesson review, professional study, and any subject where understanding connections is as important as remembering individual facts.
