Real Joy is a gentle pause button for the apps that eat your day. Choose the apps you want to be mindful about. When you (or your family member) open one, Real Joy shows a full-screen pause with your own message — like "Are you sure? It will not bring joy. Live your life :)" — and your personal list of better things to do instead. Two honest buttons: close the app and move on, or consciously continue. If you continue, Real Joy checks in again after a set number of minutes of real use. • Your words, your list — every message, task and button label is customizable • Check-in timer — continue consciously, get asked again after N minutes of use • Time insights — see where your time went, hour by hour, app by app • Family dashboard (optional) — a parent can view time stats, pause apps remotely, and customize the pause screen from the web • Private by design — data stays on the device unless you connect your own family dashboard; no ads, no analytics, no third parties, nothing sold Real Joy is not a punishment tool. It never deletes anything and always leaves the choice with the person holding the phone. It just makes sure the choice is actually made, instead of made by momentum.
