With ReadToCam, you can read your script at your own pace while you record. And if you make a mistake, you don’t have to stop or start over. Just slide the script back to the line you want to repeat, say it again, and keep recording. ReadToCam remembers where you were and removes the repeated part from the final video. You keep recording. The video comes out right. ReadToCam turns your iPhone into a video camera with a built-in teleprompter. Read your script on the same screen where you see yourself and record with a more direct, confident and natural gaze. Tap record, the countdown begins and your script starts scrolling automatically. During the take, you can adjust the speed, pause or resume the text, and drag the script to the exact point where you want to continue. NOTHING TO LEARN Paste your text, press record, and the video is already in your camera roll. No timeline, no layers, no exporting, nothing to set up before you start. If you have ever used the camera on your phone, you already know how to use ReadToCam. YOUR SCRIPT, CLOSE TO THE LENS The reading panel sits at the top of the screen by default, close to the front camera. This helps you maintain eye contact instead of looking away from your audience. YOUR TAKES, CLOSE AT HAND From inside the app you can watch how your takes came out and delete the ones you don't need, without having to go through Photos. A TELEPROMPTER THAT MATCHES YOUR PACE Change the speed while recording, tap the panel to pause or resume, and drag the script from anywhere on the screen to find your place without having to start again. YOUR SCRIPTS, READY WHEN YOU ARE Create and edit scripts, paste text, or import TXT, Markdown and RTF files. ReadToCam counts the words and estimates the approximate reading time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Your scripts and settings stay on your iPhone. ReadToCam includes no ads, tracking or third-party analytics services. With the front camera, the preview is mirrored so it feels familiar. By default, the saved video is not mirrored, so any text visible in the shot remains readable.
