RE2T Family & Community is a community app dedicated to families, loved ones, associations, and everyone affected by or interested in Rett syndrome. Our goal is simple: to create a supportive space to discover the people behind Rett syndrome, share experiences, build connections, and raise awareness about this rare genetic disorder. 💜 PEOPLE FIRST Behind every diagnosis, there is first and foremost a person, a story, a family, aspirations, passions, and dreams. RE2T puts portraits at the heart of the experience. They allow families to introduce their child or loved one, tell their story, and share the moments that matter. The goal is not to reduce a person to their disability or illness, but rather to allow the community to discover them in a new light. 👥 DISCOVER THE PROFILES Browse the profiles published by families and discover the stories, personalities, and journeys of people affected by Rett syndrome. Each profile provides a personal space where you can find information and posts shared by their family. 📰 A COMMUNITY WALL The Wall allows you to find community posts in one place. Families and RE2T members can share news, experiences, photos, events, and different moments from their daily lives. The posts allow you to follow the community's stories and encourage interaction among its members. 💬 CONNECT AND SHARE RE2T was created as a meeting point for people who sometimes experience similar situations but don't necessarily have the opportunity to meet. Parents, relatives, associations, and community members can discover posts and interact with the shared content. 🤝 SUPPORT AND ACTION Some journeys require specific equipment, adaptations, or projects. RE2T aims to highlight these needs and allow the community to discover the initiatives and projects presented by families and associations. 🌍 RAISING AWARENESS OF RETT SYNDROME RE2T also contributes to raising public awareness of Rett syndrome. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic disorder affecting neurological development. It primarily affects girls and can lead to significant difficulties with communication, motor skills, and independence. But above all, RE2T wants to showcase the individuals, their abilities, their personalities, and their daily lives beyond the diagnosis. 🦋 A CARING COMMUNITY Kindness, respect for the individual, and community protection are among RE2T's fundamental principles. Users have access to features that allow them to report inappropriate content or behavior, helping to maintain a respectful environment. 🔐 RESPECT FOR PRIVACY Families remain at the heart of managing the information they wish to share. RE2T pays particular attention to the protection of personal data and the safety of its community members.
