Store description excerpt

Raxeli puts 44 knots and a live rigging calculator in your pocket. Whether you are on a boat, on a cliff face, or in the field, step through any knot with strand-by-strand construction illustrations, then run the Load Lab to model how that knot and rope will perform under real conditions. The Knot Index covers six families — bends, hitches, loops, stoppers, bindings, and lashings — with difficulty ratings, use-case notes, and cautions for each. The Step Bench walks you through every tie one movement at a time, with large canvas illustrations and swipe-to-advance navigation. Log each completed tie to your Rig Log and earn mastery after three successful tie-throughs. The Load Lab models strength retention, slip risk, and jam risk based on the knot and rope you have loaded, with adjustable conditions including diameter, applied load, safety factor, wet or glazed surface state, and cycle count. Twelve catalog rope types span laid, kernmantle, double braid, and shock cord constructions. Add your own custom cordage with a material quality and slickness profile, or pull any rope from the Rope Locker into the active rig at any time. The Rig Log keeps a complete history of your ties, with mastery charts by knot family and optional field photos from your camera or photo library. Every screen shares the same active rig, so switching from the Step Bench to the Load Lab always reflects the knot and rope you are working with. Raxeli is a reference model, not a rated load instrument — use it to build knowledge and confidence in the field.
