Ratib Syaikhona Kholil application. Kiai's full name is KH Muhammad Cholil bin KH Abdul Latif, born on 9 Safar 1252 H/25 May 1835 AD, in the village of Kramat, Bangkalan, and died on Thursday 29 Ramadhan, 1343 H/23 April 1925 AD. Apart from having students who then became a great scholar like KH. Abdul Karim Lirboyo, KH Muhammad Hasan Genggong, and KH Abdul Wahab Chasbullah Tambakberas, he also has short works but contains very extensive knowledge. Among them is Matnusy Syarîf, a small book of 55 pages which focuses on discussing issues of worship with the Syafi'iyah school of thought. Syaikhona Kholil also left behind several practices that continue to be practiced to this day, among these practices is Ratib Syaikhona Kholil.
