Store description excerpt
Scan any US bill. Find out in two seconds whether it's worth more than face value. Point your camera at the serial number. RareBill reads it on-device and tells you straight away whether you're holding a star note or a fancy serial. Your first 20 bills are free. WHAT MAKES A BILL SPECIAL STAR NOTES - replacement notes printed to replace damaged ones, marked with a star at the end of the serial. Roughly one bill in a hundred. Fancy serial numbers, all detected instantly: • Solid — 11111111 • Ladder — 12345678 • Radar — 12344321, reads the same backwards • Repeater — 74627462 • Super repeater — 39393939 • Double quad — 55553333 • Binary and true binary — only two digits • Low serials — under 00001000 • High serials — 9999xxxx • Seven of a kind, birthdays, bookends and more TRY IT ON YOUR OWN BILLS The first 20 scans are free and nothing is held back — print-run rarity, value ranges, the collection, stack mode, all of it. Check your own money, decide whether it works for you, and only then decide whether to pay. ONE PAYMENT, NO SUBSCRIPTION $4.99, once. Not a year, not a week — once. Every other app in this corner of the store bills you again next year. BUILT ON OFFICIAL DATA Print-run figures come from the BEP's own monthly production reports, 2002 to today, plus the published collector record back to 1935. Every serial range shipped in the app was cross-checked against the quantities printed alongside it — if the arithmetic didn't agree, the row didn't ship. RareBill also tells you what the lookup sites don't: small print runs are released in consecutive packs, so a low run number is not the same as a scarce note. Values are estimates from published price guides, not appraisals. RareBill is a reference tool for collectors: it makes no claim about whether a note is genuine, and it does not check your note for printing errors — the guide explains what to look for and leaves the judgement to you. Your camera never leaves your phone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.
