Whether coordinating a field team, a volunteer group, or a family outing, Ranger Station 2 allows you to visualize your members' current locations on a high-detail map the moment they check-in. Sync with HereRanger 2: Your team members use HereRanger 2 (available for free on iOS and iPadOS) to broadcast their status. Every time a member pushes their location with a status message, Ranger Station 2 will deliver a notification alert directly to your Mac. Clicking on the notification will instantly bring the mission map into focus. Privacy-First Design: We believe in "Permission, not Surveillance." Ranger Station 2 respects the autonomy of every team member: a. Manual Updates: Locations are only shared when a member explicitly chooses to "push" their status. His or her whereabouts is not monitored under no circumstances. b. No Forced Tracking: Administrators cannot remotely force a location update. c. Consent-Based: Every connection is established through a secure, invitation-only handshake. How it Works: 1. Invite: A team member generates an invitation in HereRanger 2, including a secure 6-digit PIN and a deep link. 2. Connect: The member sends the invitation via email. 3. Activate: The administrator clicks on the deep link. Ranger Station 2 launches itself and prompts the user for a PIN. 4. Visualize: Once verified, the member’s location appears instantly on the command map. 5. Update: When the member pushes a new location with or without a message, your Mac receives an update. System requirements: 1. macOS 14.0 or higher. 2. iCloud account. What is Free & What is Not Just like its iOS counterpart, Ranger Station 2 imposes no restrictions as to how many users you can follow, which won't change at any time in the future.
