According to the popularity, the Indian antiquity was written by Valmiki Ramayana. There is no disagreement in the Indian culture that Rishi Valmiki, one of the characters of this epic, was composed by Rishi Valmiki himself. The original text of Ramayana, written in Sanskrit, is known as Valmiki Ramayana. The composition of this book is approximately 4th century BC.
