Raining Jewels is an offline weather radio. One programme — The Front — moves through an authored run of field recordings: precipitation, water, air, living outdoors, interiors, transit, then a short close. Neighbouring positions sound like neighbours. Drag the dial to scrub the broadcast; release and it continues. There is no sound library. There is no mixer, no playlist, no account, no subscription, and no ads. • Fully offline — every recording is bundled. • Background playback with lock-screen controls. • Three programme lengths: 20, 45, 90 minutes, with a gentle fade at the end. • Credits for the station under the play head, one tap away. • Free software under GPL-3.0. Sounds are sourced from the open-source Noice library and original Creative Commons recordings. Privacy: Raining Jewels does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not phone home to play.
