Store description excerpt

Roll the dice and walk as many stations as it shows. At each stop, a mission written by your friends is waiting. RailAngyer is a walking board game played on real railway stations. You never ride the train. You look at the map, walk to the next station, do the mission when you arrive, and roll again. That is the whole game. ■ The dice decide where you go You do not choose. The die decides how many stations ahead you are heading, and you walk through every station on the way, one at a time. ■ Your friends write the missions "Photograph the station sign." "Eat standing-room soba." Everyone writes a mission for each station, and one is drawn when you arrive. You can keep them hidden until the day, or show them to each other in advance. ■ Your route stays on the map The path you walked becomes a line, coloured every 50 m by how fast you were going. Later you can see where you wandered off and where the hill slowed you down. ■ Make a plan and invite people Decide the time, the meeting place and the stretch to walk, then share it. Anyone who opens the link joins the room straight away. ■ It keeps working out of signal Records stay on your phone and are shared once the signal returns. In underground stations you can mark your arrival by hand. ■ Courses Sapporo Subway (Namboku, Tozai, Toho), Sapporo Streetcar, the Yamanote Line, the Hankyu Kyoto Line and the Osaka Loop Line. Overseas: Berlin Ringbahn, London Circle line, Moscow Koltsevaya and Bolshaya lines, Beijing Subway Line 10, New York 7 train and the Los Angeles E Line. 14 courses, 341 stations. Loop courses can be walked all the way round, in either direction. -- This game is played by walking real streets. Please do not look at your phone while walking, and take care in traffic. Station positions come from public data and are approximate. Distances and times are estimates.
