It stores the known camera pose, optics, and LiDAR depth information with every photo, creating a reliable foundation for processing in RadianceKit on the Mac. GUIDED CAPTURE • Single-frame or automatic capture based on time and movement • Live camera-path and photograph-supported LiDAR surface display • Profiles for details, rooms, and larger subjects • Sound, haptic, or visual-only capture feedback UNDERSTAND QUALITY • Warning for images that are clearly at risk of blur • A red prohibition symbol identifies safely stored images excluded from training • Exposure guidance and transparent capture statistics MANAGE YOUR OWN SCENES • Review, name, annotate, and share captures • Include or exclude images before training • Transfer with AirDrop, Share, or Files • Optional sync through the private iCloud storage of your own Apple account • Optional Apple Watch controls for start, pause, and feedback PRIVATE BY DEFAULT New scenes stay on the iPhone first. RadianceCap requires no account, contains no advertising, and does not track you. iCloud becomes active only after explicit consent. New captures require a LiDAR-capable iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Gaussian Splatting training takes place in RadianceKit for Mac, available separately.
