One receipt, one photo, and everyone is even. Quittes keeps the tally for a group of friends — trips, dinners, nights out, flatshares — from photos of receipts. You snap the receipt, the app reads the amount and the date right on your phone, you pick who takes part, and everyone's balance updates. No account to create, no tedious typing, nothing leaves your phone. WHAT YOU SEE AT A GLANCE • One net balance: what you owe and what you're owed, in green and red. • Friend by friend: who owes you how much, and whom you owe. • The full history, filterable by category, with search. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan the receipt — or import a screenshot, or type the amount by hand. 2. Choose who paid and who takes part: equal shares, or custom amounts, exact to the cent. 3. When someone pays you back, tap "Settle up": the balance between you goes back to zero. MADE FOR GROUPS OF FRIENDS • Up to six people per pot, with colourful avatars to tell everyone apart. • Every expense can be opened, edited and deleted. • A reminder ready to paste into your messaging or payment app. • CSV export if you want to keep a record. • Dark mode. • Interface in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Hindi and Indonesian. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU • Receipts are read on the device, offline. Photos are never sent anywhere. • No account, no sign-up, no server. • No advertising, no trackers, no in-app purchases. • The app works fully without a connection. Quittes is the app you open when it's time to pay, not a spreadsheet. The maths is exact to the cent: the shares always add up to the total, and a repayment takes one tap. A pot lives on one phone — the phone of whoever keeps the tally. Sharing the same pot across several phones will come in a future version.
