Store description excerpt
Quilr is an enterprise browser security extension for Safari. It helps employees make safe decisions in the moment — before company data is pasted into an AI chatbot, uploaded to an unsanctioned app, or protected by a reused password. Quilr runs as a Safari extension on iPad. Your organization's security team defines the policy; Quilr applies it in the browser and gives you clear, in-page guidance when something looks risky. IMPORTANT — ORGANIZATIONAL ACCOUNT REQUIRED Quilr is intended for use by employees of organizations that have deployed Quilr. It is not a consumer product. You need an account issued by your employer and configuration supplied by your IT administrator to sign in and activate protection. If your organization does not use Quilr, this app will not have anything to protect and will tell you to contact your IT admin. WHAT QUILR HELPS WITH: AI and GenAI safety • Flags sensitive or regulated content before it is entered into AI assistants and chatbots • Lets your security team allow, warn on, or block specific AI tools • Prompts for a business justification instead of a hard stop where policy allows Data loss prevention • Watches for sensitive data leaving through web forms, uploads, and copy/paste • Applies your organization's rules per application and per data type • Shows an in-page nudge on the element that triggered it, so the guidance arrives in context Credential and password hygiene • Detects reused, weak, or previously breached passwords at sign-up and sign-in • Warns when work credentials are being used on a non-corporate domain • Never transmits or stores your passwords — checks run on a hash, locally Shadow IT and SaaS visibility • Identifies unsanctioned SaaS and AI applications in use • Gives admins the visibility to sanction, restrict, or retire apps • Helps meet audit and compliance requirements without blocking real work HOW IT WORKS 1. Install Quilr from the App Store. 2. Enable the Quilr extension for Safari in Settings, and allow access to websites so policy can be applied. 3. Open the Quilr app and sign in with your work account. Sign-in continues in Safari via your organization's identity provider. 4. Browse as usual. Quilr stays out of the way and speaks up only when your organization's policy calls for it. PRIVACY Quilr is built for workplace security, not surveillance of personal life. • Policy evaluation happens in the browser on your device. • Passwords are never sent to Quilr — password checks use a one-way hash. • Quilr reports security events defined by your organization's policy to your organization's Quilr tenant. What is collected is controlled by your admin. • Quilr does not sell personal data and does not use your data for advertising. Questions about what your organization collects should go to your security or IT administrator.
