Store description excerpt

Quillhollow Companion is the mobile half of Quillhollow, a desktop writing app for novelists. It opens projects you've created on your PC and lets you keep working on them when you're away from your desk. Important: you'll need the desktop app to make a project - the companion edits projects, it can't create them. What you can do on mobile: • Read, edit, and continue building your world: characters, locations, important plot points, and more. Easily track and link everything so you don't forget. • Read, edit, and create new scenes: the full text, with tagging, find-and-replace, and a typewriter mode. • Browse the bundled sample project (A Christmas Carol, laid out as a complete Quillhollow project) without needing the desktop app. See what you can do, and if it's right for you, before committing. How sync works: Quillhollow doesn't run a cloud service. The desktop app writes two small files alongside your project, to a location of your choice (e.g. typically a cloud provider), which the mobile app can read and write to. Changes between mobile and desktop are always surfaced for you to decide on. Change your mind on a scene update - no problem, just reject it and keep writing. What it doesn't do: • No AI. • No accounts. • No subscriptions. • No data collection. Privacy & Permissions: This app uses the native Android file picker to open and save your selected project files. It does not access your personal photos, media, or device location.
