Store description excerpt

QueenRight Hive Desk turns a confusing hive visit into a clear next action. Score brood patterns on a live hex-frame pad, run a queen-right checklist, and open equipment-ready seasonal playbooks—fully offline, camera-free, and dense enough for real apiary decisions. Built for backyard beekeepers, sideline apiary keepers, 4-H mentors, and master-beekeeper students. This is a colony-assessment and seasonal-action workbench—not a collection inventory, not a marketplace, and not an inspection diary. The core loop is simple: frame-pattern bench → colony-state rules engine → concrete seasonal actions (split, feed, super, treat, requeen) with full seed playbooks. HEX BROOD-FRAME PATTERN PAD Paint cells as egg, open larva, capped brood, pollen, nectar/honey, or empty. Get a live solidity score, shotgun vs solid pattern callouts, and a queen-right signal summary with side-by-side reference plates for worker, drone, and queen cells. COLONY ACTION BENCH Set season band, cluster size, supers on, stores estimate, temperament, and mite-pressure band. The rules engine returns a prioritized action stack (do-now / this-week / monitor) with plain-language rationale. Every band is fully seeded—no empty states. TWELVE SEASONAL PLAYBOOKS Complete temperate-climate guidance from early spring through late fall. Each playbook includes equipment lists, weather caveats, and step cards for supering, equalizing, wrapping prep, and dearth feeding. Open any month and see finished content ready for the yard. INCREASE & SPLIT WIZARD Walk-away split, nuc make-up, and double-screen methods with movable step rails, comb/bee/resource checks, and a printable-style parts list for boxes, frames, and entrance reducers. PEST & DISEASE DIFFERENTIAL Branch on brood smell, scale color, perforated cappings, chalk mummies, deformed wings, and crawling bees. Each path ends in a response card (culture vs destroy vs treat window vs requeen) with look-alike warnings for AFB, EFB, chalkbrood, sacbrood, DWV, and varroa signs. STORES & FEED MIXER Colony-size presets compute 1:1 and 2:1 syrup batches, fondant blocks, and pollen-sub volumes with container counts. Warns against feeding during certain flow windows using the active seasonal playbook. LANGSTROTH EQUIPMENT REFERENCE Deep, medium, and shallow internal dimensions, frame spacing, foundation types, and a build sheet that totals lumber cuts and hardware for one complete hive—useful at the workbench without external sites. SCENARIO EXAM MODE Sixteen seeded inspection vignettes—missing queen, laying worker, honey-bound brood nest, swarm prep, robbing, chilled brood, and more. Pick actions and receive a scored debrief with the engine’s preferred stack. WORKSHOP RESULT CARDS Save pattern score, action stack, and notes from a bench session as a shareable card image. Browse prior cards on a gallery screen. Session outcomes stay on-device only. FIELD GLOSSARY & COACHING Illustrated plates for castes, brood stages, and common comb faults, p
