When you enable app blocking, you choose which apps you want to block. During an ongoing focus session, Accessibility Services detects when one of your selected apps is open and displays a full-screen focus reminder overlaid on that app to encourage you to return to studying. Simply leave the app (Home, Back, or Recents) and the reminder will disappear. This feature: • Is completely optional and off by default — all other Qualife features work without it. • Only reads the package name of the currently open app to see if it's on your blocked list. • Does NOT read your screen content, text, or input; does NOT take screenshots or record the screen; and does NOT collect, store, or send any data about the apps you use. • The blocked list is only saved on your device and only active when you start a focus session. Before the Android Accessibility settings screen opens, Qualife will display an explanation within the app and ask for your consent. You can turn this service off at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility. Turning it off only disables the app blocking feature; all other Qualife features will continue to function normally. Note: On devices with Advanced Protection Mode enabled, Android restricts Accessibility permissions, so the app blocking feature may not be available.
