WHY QAFILAA ASKS FOR BACKGROUND LOCATION Qafilaa collects location data to show your live position on the crew map, to detect a crash and raise an SOS, and to warn the crew if you fall behind - even when the app is closed or not in use. Background collection runs only while you are on a trip. Your location is shared with the riders on that trip, and during an SOS with your emergency contacts. It is never used for advertising and never sold.
