Store description excerpt
Walk around. Spot a cat. Drop a pin. That's the whole app — and somewhere out there, someone is very glad you did. Purr is the neighborhood cat map: every bodega cat, porch loafer, and alley phantom near you, pinned by neighbors. no trackers, ever. THE MAP • Every cat is hand-drawn from its description — coat, pattern, temperament — so pins are recognizable even without a photo. Shy cats squint. Velcro cats beam. • Pin your spot with one tap, press-and-hold the map, or slide a precision reticle to the exact curb. • Snap a photo and Purr reads the coat right off it. Share the cat with everyone, or keep a pin just for yourself. LOST CAT? PURR IS A REUNION ENGINE • Post a poster and every new sighting nearby is matched against your cat's coat, markings, and photo — leads scored and ranked, right on the poster. • Share the classic LOST CAT flyer to Instagram or Nextdoor in one tap. • Neighbors tap "I've Seen This Cat" and the sighting comes pre-filled. • When they're home, one button takes the poster down. That button is why Purr exists. CATS THAT FEEL ALIVE • Full-body cats that blink, breathe, and sway their tails — each on their own rhythm. • Every cat's page is a little world: the setting comes from where they were spotted, the sky from the hour, the weather from today's actual forecast. • Night Prowl: a dark mode for the hours cats actually keep, where pins glow like eyes catching a streetlight. A NEIGHBORHOOD, NOT A FEED • Rate any cat's friendliness in paws. Under 2.0 earns the official ruling: "Why friend shape, if not friend?" • Follow your favorites — walk near their spot and your phone taps you on the shoulder. • "Was he fed today?" answered at a glance. Log meals and water so the whole block knows dinner's handled. • Cats marked as needing help get a one-tap case card to send to local rescues. • Earn XP and badges — from First Contact to Guardian Angel — and collect trading cards. Local legends get the foil edition. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Pins carry no names — nothing on the map identifies you. • Collared cats get their public location blurred to a city block, so nobody can map a cat's doorstep. • Photos are stripped of location data before upload. Report and block tools on every pin. Delete your account and every trace, any time, in-app. Purr is free. If it makes your walks better, there's a tip jar — the cats accept tribute but never require it. Starting in the USA. Be kind to the cats: don't chase, ask before feeding, and leave collared cats be.
