THE ALARM YOU CANNOT TAP AWAY Set your wake mission — squats, jumping jacks, push-ups, or photograph a glass of water. The alarm keeps sounding until your camera sees you do it. Reps are counted by your phone's motion sensors. The photo check runs on Apple's on-device vision engine. There is no snooze, no dismiss, no shortcut. Skip it and your streak breaks, and PureU records that honestly even if you silence it from the lock screen. SCROLLING BECOMES SOMETHING YOU EARN Pick the apps that eat your day. In Earn mode they stay shielded until you bank minutes by doing something real, and when the balance hits zero the shield comes back — getting in again costs another check-in. In Hard Block mode they are simply gone for the window you chose, with one deliberate escape hatch and nothing else. Blocking is enforced by Apple's own Screen Time system, so it holds even when you delete PureU from your Home Screen. A NIGHT THAT ACTUALLY ENDS Wind-down walks you through a short sequence and finishes by proving the phone is away from you: on its charger, face down for ten seconds, or by scanning a code you registered in the room where the phone sleeps. Not a reminder. A check. BUILT ON RESEARCH, NOT VIBES Implementation intentions, commitment devices, the real shape of habit formation — every number in the app is sourced from published work, and the sources are named in the app itself. No invented user counts. No fake endorsements. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-up. No server. No analytics. No ads. Camera frames are analysed on-device and are never saved and never uploaded. Your streak, your schedule and your app selections live on your phone and nowhere else. Delete the app and it is all gone. A COMPANION THAT TELLS THE TRUTH Your future self reacts to how the week is actually going — sharp when you are winning, worn down when you are not. It never lies to you to keep you engaged.
