Explore the included Pocatello-area trail library or find trails anywhere on the map, then keep the information that matters close at hand—from elevation and weather to the next aid station. DISCOVER AND PLAN • Browse trail database, search your visible map area for more paths, or import your own GPX routes • Search for trailheads, parks, cities, and addresses; save destinations and get directions in Apple Maps • Choose Apple Standard, Satellite, MapLibre 3D, or USGS topographic maps • Check trail distance, elevation, interactive profiles, photos, and local weather • Organize favorites and collections, control exactly what appears on the map, and customize trail colors • Download USGS topographic areas for offline use RACE DAY, READY • Build a race plan around a course, including aid stations, cutoffs, crew notes, drop bags, documents, and emergency information • Review course segments, elevation, weather, and the next aid station as you run • Share a Race Day plan with another PureAscent user TRACK AND FOLLOW • Record route, distance, pace, elapsed time, moving time, elevation gain and loss, and GPS accuracy • Follow a selected trail with configurable off-trail voice, vibration, and lock-screen alerts • Use automatic pause and resume, optional spoken mile splits, and background recording • Recover an interrupted active run when you reopen the app • See key live run and next-aid-station information on your paired Apple Watch REVIEW AND SHARE • Save runs with route maps, statistics, and interactive elevation profiles • Edit a saved route, export runs and trails as GPX, and optionally save outdoor runs to Apple Health • Share a private live location link and automatic updates with chosen contacts FREE AND OPTIONAL UPGRADES PureAscent Free includes trail browsing, maps, favorites, and basic run recording. A one-time PureAscent Pro purchase unlocks offline maps, GPX import and export, advanced tracking, off-trail alerts, elevation tools, and Apple Health sync. PureAscent Live is an optional monthly or annual subscription for private live sharing. PRIVACY PureAscent has no advertising or analytics. Your trails, saved runs, and downloaded maps stay on your iPhone. Live sharing is sent only when you choose to share a run with selected contacts.
