Never forget your identity. The Igbos in Nigeria regard proverb as the salt with which words are eaten. It is the wisdom and experience of a people in a nut shell. This book of proverbs also comprise of idioms. Idioms don't always make sense literally; you'll need to familiarize yourself with the meaning and usage of each idiom. That may seem like a lot of work, but learning idioms is fun, especially when you compare English idioms to the idioms in Igbo language. That is why we created this App “Igbo book of Proverbs” to help store those popular wise sayings we wouldn't want to loss, since mobile phones and tabs are generally used across the globe. We typically translated the proverbs from Igbo Language to English Language.
