ONE SMALL IDEA A DAY Proprio Calm gives you one short sensory play idea, chosen for a moment that tends to be hard. When it might fit. How to turn it into a game. How to keep it safe. What to watch for in your child's response. Then you put the phone down. Your child plays off-screen, with you. FIFTEEN SECONDS TO NOTE WHAT YOU NOTICED Afterwards you save a quick observation: calmer, more energy, an easier transition, they said no, or a bit of everything. No forms. No scoring. No streaks to keep up. PATTERNS THAT COME ONLY FROM YOUR MOMENTS Over a few weeks, those notes start to show something. Which ideas showed up before easier transitions. Which ones got mixed responses. Which ones your child keeps declining — because "no" is information too. It isn't a label and it isn't a score. It's your child's real days, in language you can actually use with a partner, a daycare educator, or a therapist. WHEN THE MOMENT IS ALREADY TOO BIG There's a separate mode for that. It doesn't suggest an experiment. It reminds you of the basics: fewer words, less noise, a familiar body nearby, and your child's right to stop. BUILT FOR THE WAIT Publicly funded paediatric occupational therapy in Canada can take 12 to 24 months. Proprio Calm is not therapy and not a substitute for that appointment. It's something to do in the meantime — so that when your appointment comes, you arrive with a few weeks of real observations instead of trying to remember. WHAT THIS APP IS NOT Proprio Calm does not screen, score, or assess your child. It does not generate a sensory profile. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment, and not medical advice. It records what you, the grown-up, observed. If anything about your child concerns you, please speak with your physician, an occupational therapist, or another qualified professional. This app is designed to make that conversation easier, never to replace it. YOUR DATA We don't ask for your child's name or date of birth. Your notes stay on your device. You can export or delete everything at any time. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking. FOR WHOM Parents, grandparents, and other primary caregivers of children roughly 3 to 5 years old. The phone belongs to the grown-up — this is not a children's app and your child never needs to touch it. Free while we're building it, with input from registered occupational therapists.
