No subscription logic running in the background. What you import stays on your device. You unlock Privatsache with a 6-digit PIN. Then you organize your content into folders, import photos, videos, and audio files from your iPhone library or via file selection, and view everything in a clear gallery view with thumbnails. Images and videos can be opened individually, played, and zoomed in on with a swipe. Audio files play in the appropriate player. You can create notes directly in the app; in the grid view, they display their titles so you can find them right away. The auto-lock feature provides added peace of mind: you set how many minutes of inactivity will trigger the vault to lock. The app locks immediately when you switch away from it. Playing videos or audio interrupts the inactivity lock so that longer content doesn’t close in the middle of playback. Additionally, you can create a second vault with its own PIN. Both vaults are separate from each other and each displays only its own content. Privatsache stores content locally in the app container and encrypts it before it is permanently saved. There is no provider-based recovery, no cloud sync, and no external database. You remain independent and retain control.
