The PRINCE project, co-financed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea, promotes the change of mobility habits for systematic travel for study purposes. The project aims to promote the reduction of pollutant emissions and energy consumption related to the world of transport in the urban environment, through the definition and implementation of integrated incentive, loyalty and reward policies for those who decide to switch to more sustainable modes of transport. : public transport, car sharing and bike sharing for journeys between home and university. The PRINCE app is aimed at students of the University of Genoa who, by using "green" means of transport for their home / university trips, can accumulate points that can be converted into prizes. The app allows you to join the incentive program, validate the execution of "green" trips, check your points balance and request rewards. The recognition of a journey takes place through dialogue with Bluetooth sensors present on board the vehicles. To validate the actual carrying out of a trip, the application makes use of the position data internally. These data are collected only within the app and on a temporary basis, only for the aforementioned verification. No position data is transmitted to any person.
