When daily locking is active, Prayer First shows a blocking screen when you open a selected app. Complete your habit to unlock your apps for the rest of the day. THREE WAYS TO UNLOCK • Read in a supported Bible app for your chosen reading time. • Use the physical Bible timer, set your phone down and read your paper Bible. • Write a journal entry to reflect on Scripture, record a prayer or give thanks. KEEP A PRAYER JOURNAL Save Bible study notes, prayer requests and moments of gratitude. Add photos to your entries and revisit past reflections by day. Your journal text and photos are stored on your device. GO DEEPER WITH POWER PACK Optional paid features include journal search and a connected journal map to help you rediscover your notes, Bible references and themes. LESS SCROLLING, MORE INTENTION Create a pause before social media, interrupt doomscrolling and make space for quiet time with God. Prayer First supports your own Bible reading routine; it does not replace your Bible app. App blocking depends on Android permissions and is not impossible to bypass. ANDROID ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Prayer First uses Android Accessibility Service for its core app-locking feature. When you choose apps to lock, the service notices when one of those selected apps comes to the front during your locking window so Prayer First can show its shield before the feed opens. Prayer First does not read screen text, capture keystrokes, record screen content, or send Accessibility data off your device. You can turn Accessibility Service off at any time in Android Settings; app locking will stop working if you disable it.
