The Pravartan app is a professional solution for geo tagging of illegal construction sites in Uttar Pradesh. It is an initiative of the Housing and Urban Planning Department under the mentorship of the UP Government to curb the illegal construction sites in the state. Here is a step by step guide on how JEs can access and navigate through the app: • The JEs need to select either of the two options – Development Authority or Regulated Area. • The JEs need to submit their User ID and Password in the designated fields. • Upon successful login, two options will be displayed to the JEs – o Creating a new VAAD ID by filling the Pravartan App Form and Geo tagging photos taken by the phone camera. o Filling the Pravartan App form with an existing VAAD ID and Geo tagging photos taken by the phone camera. • After selecting either of the options, a request will be received to grant permission to the application to access the device's location, storage and camera. Granting permission is necessary for the proper functioning of the app. Declining will prevent further progress. • After this, the Pravartan app form will open and the JE will fill the details in all the fields. • Upon submission, the app will store the photos and fetch the location, storing the information in its database. This ensures that the information is accurately tagged with the precise location of the illegal construction sites.
