PONTES is a free educational game that combines museums, learning and gameplay into an experience designed to engage, challenge and bring the past to life through play. The app features five playable experiences inspired by everyday life in Roman times, each with different mechanics, objectives and challenges. Through puzzles, strategy, skill and quick decision-making, players explore aspects of ancient Roman culture, society and daily life. In addition to gameplay, PONTES includes quizzes and challenges that allow users to test their knowledge and compete with other players. Educational content is integrated into the gameplay to create a natural, progressive and action-driven learning experience. The experience continues in partner museums: by scanning QR codes, players can unlock additional content, game variants and customization items. Users can create their own avatar, level up and track their progress over time. PONTES also includes social features that allow players to add friends, take part in challenges and collaborate through temporary alliances, encouraging interaction and shared gameplay. Free and accessible, PONTES is designed for a young audience, while remaining open to anyone interested in discovering history in a more active, engaging and playful way.
