Store description excerpt

Draw the sprite. Wrap it on the model. Send it to your engine. Poligon is a pixel art and low-poly studio built for iPad and Apple Pencil. Paint a texture on a canvas, then paint that same texture directly onto a 3D model - because it is the same texture. Edit either side and the other updates. Nothing here is a cloud service. There is no account, no subscription, and no AI generation. It is a one-time purchase and it works on a plane. - THE 2D SIDE - - Palette-indexed layers. Change a swatch and everything painted with it recolours at once, across the sprite and the model. - Pixel-perfect strokes - the doubled corner texel on a diagonal is removed as you draw. - Pencil, eraser, line, rectangle, ellipse, flood fill, colour picker and stamp brushes. - Seven dither patterns applied by any tool, with Apple Pencil pressure driving coverage. - X, Y and quad symmetry. Isometric angle snapping on shape tools. - Frames with per-frame duration, onion skinning, and playback. - Blend modes, per-layer opacity, layer locking, up to 200 undo steps. - THE 3D SIDE - - Low-poly primitives: box, plane, cylinder, cone, UV sphere, wedge, stairs. - Select by vertex, edge or face. Extrude, inset, subdivide, mirror, merge, snap to grid. - Box, planar and cylindrical UV unwrapping, packed onto whole texel boundaries so an island edge never lands halfway across a pixel. - Paint straight onto the mesh with Apple Pencil. UV seams are bled automatically so no black line appears at an island edge. - PSX mode: vertex snapping, affine texture warping and 15-bit ordered dither - the three artefacts that actually made 1994 hardware look the way it did. - GET IT OUT - - glTF 2.0 (.glb) with an embedded PNG and a NEAREST sampler, so Godot, Unity and Blender import your pixels sharp instead of smoothed. Optional unlit material. - OBJ + MTL + PNG. USDZ for AR Quick Look straight out of Files. - PNG, sprite sheets with Aseprite-compatible JSON, animated GIF. - Reads and writes .aseprite files, so a desktop workflow does not have to end here. - Reads PNG, GIF and OBJ. - IN THE BOX - Eleven finished assets you can take apart: an oak crate, a dungeon block, a grass block, a barrel, a pine tree, an iron sword, a health potion, a hero with a four-frame idle, a slime, a spinning coin and a twelve-tile dungeon tileset. Twelve curated palettes and fourteen stamp brushes. Every one is an ordinary document - nothing is locked. - HOW IT IS BUILT - Two custom Metal surfaces, a 120 Hz canvas, and a file-based document format that sits in Files next to your game repo. Layers are stored as raw palette indices, so a project diffs cleanly in git. iPad only. Apple Pencil recommended, not required. One-time purchase. No subscription. No account. No cloud. No AI.
